As an Assistant Manager or above, you will be responsible for all aspects of the BURGER KING® Restaurant Operation. Our management training programme is very adaptable depending on your individual needs, and can take as long or as short a period as required. To give you an idea of the content, the programme, laid out over a typical twelve week period, is detailed here.
By the end of the programme you will be able to demonstrate the necessary skills, knowledge and behaviours required to be an Assistant Manager within a BURGER KING® restaurant, ensuring the smooth and consistent delivery of our BURGER KING® brand standards.

Once you have completed our Basic Management Training (BMT) you will spend time developing your managerial skills and practice running shifts. You'll be supported by experienced managers who will coach you and provide regular feedback.
Even when you become a fully qualified Assistant Manager, there are still plenty of courses on offer on subjects such as Health & Safety, Recruitment & Retention and Performance Management - so your training never really ends!
Tailor made courses play an important part in our Restaurant Manager's careers too. Courses such as our 'Advanced Restaurant Operations Course' develops your ability to manage the administrative and financial aspects of running a restaurant, whilst 'People the Winning Edge' helps you to develop vital skills in people management.
