BURGER KING® has been awarded the 2004 MenuMasters QSR and
Travel award in recognition of its innovative menu.
The award, for innovation in the QSR & Travel category covering
quick service restaurants and meals on the move, was presented to BURGER
KING® at the third MenuMasters Awards Dinner held at the Metropole Hotel
in Brighton on Tuesday 2nd December at a 'West' meets 'East' theme dinner
created by celebrity chefs Alistair Little and Cyrus Todi Wala.
The MenuMasters Awards are awarded by the Food Development
Association, to recognise and reward the cream of the crop of food and
menu developers across the UK.
Mark Dowding, Brand Innovation Manager at BURGER KING®,
says, “BURGER KING®’s unique fire-grilling is a strong differentiation
from our competitors and simply tastes better. Our menu innovation builds
upon this great brand asset and together with our supplier partners we

The FDA is the first ever association dedicated to food
development in all its forms. By bringing together food development devotees
from across the UK and offering them a networking forum, as well as an
authoritative source for culinary and technical information, they aim
to help foodservice businesses, manufacturers and retailers to enhance
