BURGER KING® UK & Ireland recently presented Long Service Awards to honour
staff whose longevity of service deserved special recognition. Falkirk
Area Manager Joanna Graham and crew member Margaret Reynolds collected
20 years of service each, making Falkirk the dedicated employee capital
of the UK.
The awards were presented to those who have worked at BURGER KING® for
10, 15, 20 or 25 years respectively, representing a total of 485 years
service. Ray Dellamura, himself a 20 year veteran and now Vice President
BURGER KING® UK & Ireland, presented awards to people from all areas of
BURGER KING®’s UK operation.
“The number of people receiving Long Service Awards this year is testament
to BURGER KING®’s philosophy of investing in our people,” said Ray. “We
have a great brand, but the backbone of our continued success is the commitment
and loyalty of the people honoured by these awards.”
“This award means a lot to me, as working at BURGER KING® has been a
huge part of my life.” Commented veteran Joanna Graham, “It’s been a rewarding
experience and I feel lucky to have found an organisation that gives such
a high priority to looking after staff at all levels.”
Fellow Falkirk BURGER KING® employee Margaret Reynolds went on to say,
“I am pleased that BURGER KING® recognises the dedication that myself
and others like me have put in over the years. It has been a fantastic
20 years working with people who have become valued friends.”
