Red Hot Geordie Peppers The survey also
asked consumers what alternative ingredients they would like to see in
their burgers. The results showed that burger lovers from Newcastle like
to set their taste buds on fire, with chillies scoring their largest percentage
nationwide as a favoured alternative ingredient.
“From Newcastle to Nottingham, Glasgow to Greater London we all have
our preferences in what we like in a burger,” says Paul Reynish, BURGER
KING® Marketing Director. “If people from Newcastle love cheese, then
that’s what we’ll give them. If they want treble pickle, no lettuce and
extra onion, they can have that too. We all have our preferences. That’s
why we treat people as individuals. You can have any of our sandwiches
any way you like because at BURGER KING‚ You’re the Boss‘.”
