SHARK TALE BRINGS PLENTY OF BITE INTO BURGER KING®

London, October 2004

BURGER KING® today announced it is supporting this autumn’s underwater animation blockbuster, Shark Tale! In a promotional alliance with DreamWorks®, BURGER KING® has launched a range of ‘fin-tastic’ premiums for underwater fans of all ages, available in restaurants around the country until 18th November, 2004.

Alex Cacouris, BURGER KING® Kids Marketing Manager UK and Eire, said, “It’s fantastic to have the opportunity to work with our friends at Dreamworks® on such an exciting new family film. Shark Tale’s wide appeal to a variety of age groups makes this promotion an excellent strategic fit for BURGER KING®.”

BURGER KING® has also teamed up with Sea Life Centres and Sanctuaries to give fans of the fishy adventure the chance to see underwater life up close. At participating restaurants, customers will receive one free entry ticket* into the country’s leading aquariums, with every BURGER KING® Kids Meal sold during the Shark Tale promotion.

Inspired by the unique Shark Tale characters, the exclusive BURGER KING® toys capture the ‘Great White’ excitement of the new film including:

Punch and Munch Don Lino Place your piece of paper in the mouth of shark boss Don Lino and when you press down his teeth leave a shark bite imprint!
