As the "spooky season" approaches, BURGER KING® Rugeley is getting right
into the Halloween spirit!
The Rugeley BURGER KING®, A51/B5013 Weston Springs Road, is hosting a
Halloween party from 5.00pm to 7.00pm on Sunday 31st October 2004.
Children of all ages and their parents are invited to come along and
join in the fun! There will be colouring competitions, goody bags and
trick or treat sweets. And for those who arrive "dressed to impress" in
Halloween costumes - prizes will be awarded for the best spooky outfits!
"Halloween is traditionally a time when children are out after dark and
can be more likely to come to harm or behave in a way that could be seen
as anti-social," said Harriett Newman, Publications Officer for Staffordshire
Police. "Staffordshire Police supports organised events, supervised by
responsible adults, as a safe and enjoyable alternative to activities
such as "trick or treat" which may cause distress, especially to older
residents."
